Katy Perry put on an amazing show at Spark Arena on Monday night as her Witness tour drew to a close with two nights in Auckland. I was there shooting for Getty Images from the crowd. The photos below have had additional edits, but you can see the original set here
i had the pleasure of photoing the legendary Celine Dion at Spark Arena, Auckland on Saturday night. We were only able to photo the first song and she was on stage for three minutes and twenty seconds. Véronic DiCaire was the opening act for Celine Dion on her recent visit to New Zealand. She’s a fantastic musical mimic and had the whole arena in the palm of her hand. Quite incredible really for someone who walked on to the stage unknown! A great performer! The images below were taken for Getty. I love The Miltones. They play uplifting and upbeat americana and seem to be totally enjoying themselves when playing live. I’ve seen them a few times and they never disappoint. They were the perfect support for Tami Neilson at her recent concert at the Auckland Town Hall. Australian multi-tracking, multi-instrumentalist Tash Sultana played in Auckland’s Town Hall on Tuesday night and i was lucky enough to get to photo her for Getty Images. Here are some of my shots and a couple of extra bonus items !
New Zealand has more than its fair share of amazing musicians and Reb Fountain is up there amongst the best. it was just her and a guitar, but that was plenty!
