Coldplay put on a magical show as part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour last week. I was lucky enough to photo the spectacle for Getty Images. Although i only got to see the first three songs you could tell it was going to be a special night. Friends who attended said it was amazing.
Great to finally get to photo Kendall Elise who was playing a small gig at Kumeu Live last weekend. COVID restrictions mean smaller crowds and seated, but that didn’t stop this being a fantastic gig in a lovely little venue. Support was from Beth Torrance who was also excellent. I had great fun photoing Venice on her ‘Queen of the Night’ tour at The Tuning Fork. If you haven’t heard of her, then i definitely recommend you check her out. She’s a great performer and destined for great things i’m sure. Covid restrictions in New Zealand limited the audience to 100 people seated, but there was still a great atmosphere and a tonne of energy flowing from the stage! Support was from the excellent Katie-Lee
An incredible night as Auckland came out of what felt like months of lockdown. A celebration of all things (including music) at the legendary Wine Cellar on K Rd. First up were Thee Good Ole Boyz NZ, followed by Thee Golden Geese Unplugged. Then finally, Thee Golden Geese actually plugged. And all sorts of strange things along the way. Pictures below are in vaguely chronological order! Images originally shot for UnderTheRadar Thee Good Ole Boyz NZ Thee Golden Geese Unplugged […]
I had the great privilege of photoing We Love Aotearoa just before Christmas. It was my last photo gig of the year and was great fun. The production and musicians were amazing. And the crowd were in great spirits.
Princess Chelsea played at The Tuning Fork on Thursday 3rd December. I was there to take photos for UnderTheRadar. Support was from Crap Date and Stef Animal.
Fantastic to be back in the photo pit for an arena show with the amazing Benee! Here are a few images. See the full set on Getty Images here
Great to be back in the photo pit after a couple of months of lockdown. And what better way to emerge from lockdown than to get to photo Nadia Reid and Tiny Ruins (Hollie Fullbrook). See the full set over at Getty Images here
Just before Auckland went back in to a Covid-19 lockdown, i was lucky enough to be able to photo the Good Vibe festival featuring Lomez Brown, Che Fu, Ardijah, Three Houses Down & General Fiyah, Stan Walker, Katchafire and Kora. See the full set on Getty Images here
