The ever excellent Ghost Wave live at the Wine Cellar, Auckland on the 13th April 2017. Ghost Wave were one of the first bands i shot (see here) and their Radio Norfolk album has been on repeat on my Spotify playlist since it was released last year. Excellent stuff. The excellent Sea Views live, supporting Ghost Wave at the Wine Cellar, Auckland on the 13th April 2017. you may recognise some of the members of the band from NaeNae Express and Greenfog ! They were the perfect start to the evening! This was the first time i’d heard Sea Views, and they reminded me a bit of arab strap a little (musically)
I organised another photo shoot with my excellent cosplay friend, this time as part of a street photography workshop. It’s great taking pictures with other photographers as you can pool (deadpool?) ideas and come up with something unique. I’ll post a few more shots from the day later!
I had great fun last Saturday photoing the Murray’s Bay Birdman Competion which has been revived to take full advantage of the recently opened new Wharf. There was much entertainment throughout the day with the highlight being the competitors parade and of course the flying demonstrations themselves. Hopefully this will become an annual occurence!
