The excellent father / son + band combo of Tweedy played at the Auckland Powerstation. You might know Tweedy himself from the band Wilco. Support came from Stretch who are/is well worth checking out!
i was lucky enough to get to photograph Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys performing for the 50th Anniversary of Pet Sounds. Al Jardine, also of the Beach Boys was part of the group who were having a whale of a time! as this was a photography assignment i only got to see the first three songs but it was a great few minutes! my second time shooting Delaney Davidson in just over a week. This time it was Delaney Davidson’s Manos Del Chango. it was excellent to hear him with other musicians.
Tami Neilson played at the Auckland Myers Park Medley festival and was happy to pose for me in front of a black wall.
Orchestra of Spheres are an awesome band from Wellington New Zealand. you should definitely check out if you have the chance.
