Thee Golden Geese and friends

An incredible night as Auckland came out of what felt like months of lockdown. A celebration of all things (including music) at the legendary Wine Cellar on K Rd. First up were Thee Good Ole Boyz NZ, followed by Thee Golden Geese Unplugged. Then finally, Thee Golden Geese actually plugged. And all sorts of strange things along the way. Reb Fountain

I was lucky enough to be able to photo the amazing Reb Fountain at one of the first gigs that happened as New Zealand moved out of its strict lockdown. The ever excellent Ghost Wave live at the Wine Cellar, Auckland on the 13th April 2017. Ghost Wave were one of the first bands i shot (see here) and their Radio Norfolk album has been on repeat on my Spotify playlist since it was released last year. Excellent stuff. Sea Views live at the Wine Cellar, Auckland

The excellent Sea Views live, supporting Ghost Wave at the Wine Cellar, Auckland on the 13th April 2017. you may recognise some of the members of the band from NaeNae Express and Greenfog ! They were the perfect start to the evening! This was the first time i’d heard Sea Views, and they reminded me a bit of arab strap a little (musically)
